Pam Knox

UGA Weather Network

Pam Knox is an extension climatologist at the University of Georgia and the Director of the UGA Weather Network. She has lived in Georgia since 2001. She has previously worked as the Georgia Assistant State Climatologist, Wisconsin State Climatologist, and a National Weather Service meteorologist studying heavy rainfall. She maintains the “On the CASE” blog (https://site.extension.uga.edu/climate/), which includes articles of interest on climate and agriculture in the Southeast. In 2022 Pam was awarded the Walter Barnard Hill Award for Distinguished Achievement in Public Service and Outreach from the University of Georgia.
