Fruit Conference Announced, Nov. 15-20, 2021

Join NAFEX for an exciting series of interactive sessions with some of North America’s leading fruit growers, explorers and preservationists. Our 2021 conference, Fruit Forward: Growing for Tomorrow, will feature six days of inspiring and informative online sessions, Monday, November 15, through Saturday, November 20, via ZOOM.

Michael Phillips of Lost Nation Orchard will be our keynote speaker, Saturday evening, November 20. Michael is the author of, “The Holistic Orchard,” “The Apple Grower,” and “Mycorrhizal Planet.”

Other sessions will include Exploring Peaches Grown by Southwestern Native Americans; Permaculture Orchards for Changing Climates; Getting Started in Fruit Growing; Agroforestry: An Alternative Agriculture; Decoding Burbank’s Plums and Hybrids; Preserving our Heirloom Apple Heritage; Pears for your Heirs; Exploring Wild and Cultivated Orchards; Heroes of Pawpaw and Persimmon Breeding, Past and Present; and All About NAFEX.

The conference also includes the 2021 NAFEX Annual Meeting and a very special Member Show and Tell Happy Hour.
